The API: keys, plans and what it covers
Keyed HTTPS access to the same answers the app gives, for a partner system or your own tools.
The ProximityIntel API answers the same questions as the app, over HTTPS with a key. Interactive docs and a try it page: https://app.proximityintel.ai/api/v1/docs.
Get a key
- Open Account, then API keys. Any paid member (Vantage) can mint keys.
- Mint a sandbox key to build against. It hits the same data as production; only the caps differ.
- Mint a live developer key when you are ready. The key is shown once; copy it then.
- Revoke a key in the same place. A revoked key stops working at once, in the API and in any assistant using it.
Plans
- Sandbox: 30 requests a minute, 100 address units and 100 lookup units a month, 10 watches. Free with Vantage.
- Developer: 60 requests a minute, 1,000 address units and 2,500 lookup units a month, 100 watches. Included with Vantage; the monthly units are the cap.
- Partner: 120 requests a minute, metered for invoice with no monthly cap, unlimited watches. Issued by ProximityIntel under a partner agreement.
- Guest: 3 lookups and 1 address check in total, no account. Minted by the PI Connect page when someone chooses Try it free.
What it covers
- HUBZone and Opportunity Zone checks for an address, today or on any date since 2018, and the SBA two part eligibility test.
- Firm truth: SAM status, each certification as SBA verified or self attested, vehicles, award totals, subawards, exclusions.
- Firm search with the evidence behind each match, warm introduction paths, fit signals for a list of targets.
- Conference floors PI has loaded, already matched to UEIs in booth order. Roster pages are free.
- Prime award ledgers, subcontracting partners both directions, awarded GSA Schedule labor rates, SAM.gov opportunities.
- Watches: a standing question PI re asks after every refresh, with events by webhook or polling.
Two meters: address units for zone checks and the eligibility test, lookup units for everything about firms, one unit per firm or row. Every answer carries an as of date. GET /usage returns the month balance at any time, free.
Opportunities, SBS profiles, prime awards and subawards refresh every night. The SAM entity file refreshes when SAM publishes it, around the sixth of each month. HUBZone polygons refresh the night SBA changes them.
