Find firms
"With evidence" and sector-only matches
Some firms match because of what they have done or said. Others only share an industry code.
When you search for a kind of work, a firm can match in two ways.
- With evidence. The words appear in the firm's contract history or in its own capability profile. This is the firm doing or describing that work.
- Sector only. The firm sits under a matching NAICS industry code but nothing in its record mentions the work. An engineering firm on a "geospatial" search is the usual example.
Results start on With evidence when there are sector-only firms mixed in. Tap Include N sector-only to widen the list.
Sector-only firms are worth a look when the evidenced list is short. A small firm may simply not have described itself well.
